Read the passage and answer the questions given below: Conservation of plant biodiversity for sustainable growth and development has been the major concern of all the countries after the Convention of Biological Diversity held in 1992, which provided sovereign rights of the states over their national resources. Being the major staple crop for more than half of the world population, conservation and protection of vast generic of rice has got the top priority in India and also other rice growing countries.
