(i) These UMBRELLA - like organisms are called gilled mushrooms which are edible spore-producing fruiting bodies. These organisms are fungi and they GROW on decaying ORGANIC matter
(ii) No , all species of mushrooms are not edible as some as some of these species are HIGHLY poisonous. Agaricus compestris is a common edible mushroom
(iii) Mushroom are rich in minerals, VITAMINS, etc.
