Answer» Ya..the statement is absolutely right and its a universal fact..an object can be in rest as well as in motion at an particular instant...it depends upon the reference point...e.g:-a man inside a moving bus is in rest in respect to another person inside that particular bus who is sitting but the same person is in motion with respect toa person outside the moving bus.
