Answer» Secondary data\xa0refers to\xa0data\xa0that is collected by someone other than the user. Common sources of\xa0secondary data\xa0for social science include censuses, information collected by government departments, organizational records and\xa0data\xa0that was originally collected for other research purposes.\xa0Secondary data\xa0means\xa0data\xa0that are already available i.e., they refer to the\xa0data\xa0which have already been\xa0collected\xa0and analysed by someone else. When the researcher utilises\xa0secondary data, then he has to look into various sources from where he can obtain them.\xa0Primary data:\xa0Data\xa0collected by the investigator himself/ herself for a specific purpose.
