Answer» The rabbit has three types of teeth – Incisors are front teeth used for cutting, premolar and molar are used for grinding. Canine is absent as rabbit are herbivores. The gap between the incisor and premolar is called diastema. It helps in mastication and chewing of food in herbivores animal.
