Ok we upgraded our AT&T dsl service from 768kbps to 6.0mbps. 2 months ago.

and since then, sporiadicaly, my dsl light starts blinking green, and sometimes goes RED, but only when i actualy do something like if im downloading and talking on SKYPE or if i am browsing and click a link.... and i loose connection and have to restart my browser. i guess this is known as a sync issue or intermittent connection.

i called techsupport like 50 TIMES in teh last 2 weeks, and they did every single test they have, also they replaced my ports, modem, wires, cables etc. and i still have this problem.

and a funny thing, i thought this was a win 7 issue so i downgraded to xp and i still had the problem, except when i used xp, my dsl connection was 3.4 mbps isntead of 5.7 with windows 7....(i dont know why everythings the same and i had xp updated too)

so i formatted my pc few times today and still no luck, i tried wired and wireless, and still no luck. and ATT tech support did everything they can, they suggest i subscribe to their advanced tech support for an additional 12 dollars a month to get support for this issue.....

why the *censored* do i have to pay extra to fix a problem that is theirs?

so just throwing this out there hope someone can help, if not ill install time warner cable road runner on tuesday

Forgot to say, im using windows 7, 4gb ddr3 ram, amd x2 555 processer 3.2ghz, and the dsl modem is a 2wire wireless gateway. If you want to give them another chance, you could try here:  http://www.dslreports.com/forums/58If they have replaced your modem and internal wiring, the problem has to be in their outside plant, and could be hard to TROUBLE shoot and could be very expensive to fix.  Frankly, at this point I would go with Time Warner.hey funny thing now, i dont want to screw my chickents before they hatch, but i took off my wireless adapter and just connected with ethernet cord, after a fresh install of win 7, and so far it seems to be doing good.....

so i wonder maybe if somethings wrong with my wireless adapter....

but the thing is, i can connect to my apartment PUBLIC wifi just fine (its slow as *censored* though) and i download on that and i dont loose connection, so idk....

internet can be a tricky monster....
