Answer» I have an old laptop with XP on it that I want to get wireless internet for. The ROUTER its using now while free keeps dropping the connection and it is horribly slow, isn't there a no monthly FEE way of getting a fast, stable connection up.Since you mentioned old laptop, just reinstall your XP system and of course BACKUP first. Also check for any DRIVER updates for your network card. You wont get any free better connection other than subscribing to an ISP with HIGHER bandwith connection. |
