Answer» can i get broadband without a bt line or is that required
thanks DUNCAN cowanThe sarky answer would be, "Yes, I live in France/Canada/New Zealand/The Phillipines and I haven't got a BT (British Telecom) fixed telephone line but I can get broadband".
I happen to know that "bt" means British Telecom, but not everybody on here will! This is not a UK-only forum.
As it happens, I live in Bristol, and I have Virginmedia cable broadband. If you live in a FORMER Telewest or NTL area you can get their cable internet service which is pretty good value.
