Answer» I have IIS (v. 5.1) running on my computer. I can access it fine from my computer or another computer on my network but can't access it from a computer over the internet. I have disabled my firewall on Windows XP and forwarded the port from my router but the connection still TIMES out. Connection TIMEOUT is set to 900 seconds. I made sure not to USE the 192.168.1.xxx IP I get from ipconfig and am using the IP address given by whatismyip.com. I am testing it by using a proxy to attempt to access that IP. I also had a friend use his computer to try to access it and it came up blank. HELP is greatly appreciated.Nevermind. I got it to work. I changed the port to port 82 and added exceptions for port 82 on the firewalls. I don't KNOW why that made a difference, but it did.
