Answer» Please help.
I've reinstalled Win xp on my machine (SPECS below) and now has no internet connection. Reinstalled drivers from original disc - no go still. The only network driver listed in system is the 1394... is that my wireless network driver or something else?
Opened the bottom of the laptop and read the netwrok card to find that it is dw1510. Also if I donwload a driver for this how do I get the card to see the driver if I can't see the adapter itself? Confused. thanks in advance.

How to activate it?
thanks for your help.Double-click the file you downloaded & follow the instructions.Well, the file downloaded properly but the install/setup won't run with the wizard as it says "Operating System not supported. Wizard will close."
This confuses me because I'm sure I've used the proper reinstallation CD and have the proper OS running.
I'll peruse the dell sight a little more for any DIFF drivers while i have my coffee... May have dowloaded for Vista by mistake... will try listed items for xp... Yerp - that was it. I had downloaded the one for Vista acidentally so now everything works again.
Thank you so much.
This is LIKE, really liberating. My only working PC for months has been the one in the COLD dark damp basement - we call it HTE dungeon. So now I can come up above ground to work. AWESOME!
How can I repay?
