Solve : Cannot not access my router.?

Answer» OK I was trying to access my router because I have to change my NAT settings in order to play Xbox Live (because my router is upstairs and my Xbox is downstairs connected through my laptop). I have a Linksys WRT54G Wireless-G Router and I am using a Windows XP desktop, and Mozilla 3.5. Every time I try enterting my router's ip address 192.168.1.1. on Mozilla it just give a a black white page and the status bars says done, when I try in IE it's says "Internet Explorer cannot display this page". So I tried to to run ipconfig to SEE what was wrong and every time I try to run ipconfig, it flashes on the screen for a second and then disappears. I need some help please!

Also FYI, my router is not DIRECTLY connected to my modem, my modem is connected to a Packet 8 VOIP box and that is connected to my router, but I was still able to access my router through 192.168.1.1 before in that same setup, until now.Try going into command prompt then type ipconfig. If you type ipconfig in the run box it will quickly disappear like you said. I have the same router myself. Are you able to access the internet at all otherwise?yeah i'm able to access the internet and my connection is great and i went to command prompt and was able to access ipconfig and it stated that my router ip is 192.168.1.1 but it still gives me a blank page every time I try to access my router.Try Safe Mode with Networkingcheck your firewall cause that might be your problemTried disabling my Kaspersky firewall and tried booting in Safe Mode with Networking and still have the same problem. Remove?yeah, I tried that and connected my modem directly to my router, I still had the same problem and surprisingly when I did that I couldn't even get any internet.I'd say, there is something wrong with the router.maybe my firmware is corrupted?Maybe...if your power light is blinking on your router you need to update the firmware on it. The same exact thing happened to me back in may and I updated the firmware it started working and knock on wood it's been working just FINE since.try both
