Answer» Maybe someone can help me out here. I know how to recover a password from a router when I have access DIRECTLY to the router, but is it the same if you are far away? How would you power down the router if you can't access it? BASICALLY all I need to know is how to recover a lost password from a remote location. Anyone have any expertise in this area? THANKS in advance for any help.I don't think this is possible for very obvious reasons. If anyone could access or reset a router remotely without a valid password hackers would be on easy street.marco, you can't do that "remote". You have to be there, physically.
