Answer» I have just noticed that my computer (Windows - not sure which) has Client services for Netware installed (which I haven't installed) and after some googling of it I read lots about Virtual Private Networks for remotely accessing a computer. I went into control panel and then network connections, and there, LO and behold, is a VPN connected! This wasn't here a week ago. My ex-husband had access to my computer for an hour while I was out and he was babysitting. Is it possible he has set up a system to remotely access my computer? (He is an IT specialist by trade) If so, how much can he see and is this illegal? I USE a password for my gmail account but there wasn't one to log on to the computer. We don't give legal advice.
