I ANM having a heck of a time trying to get internet on my laptop.When i connect to the wireless network it says i am connected but when i go to click on the internet explorer icon it says it can't disply the webpage.Then ush diagnose and it says no probems found.I thought i pdated my drivers network adapter says it is 2011.I don't know if i still don't have the right drivers and updates installed.I replaced my internet box it all worked once but then did not.When i hook the cable up to it it still says the same thing and no internet.I have spent many hours on the phone wih my internet PROVIDER tech support and they keep saying it is on my end.What am i MISSING?Please help.I need to get it working very soon got classes to finish.Thank You. Until you get wifi working you COULD always be able to do classes online etc by use of a Cat5 cable connection.

Is this wifi your own or someone elses, such as school systems etc?

What security protocol are you using for wifi? None, WEP, WPA, WPA2?

What information do you get when from command shell you type IPconfig/all

Your IP?
Your subnet mask?
Your gateway?
Your DNS info?

Does this COMPUTER have Norton Internet Security running? If so have you tried disabling it temporarily to see if problem is fixed?
