Answer» I looked in past questions and couldnt find any to MATCH mine i have a belkin G on it which says 125 HSM (i am not sure what this MEANS) At the minute i have 1 DESKTOP pc conecected, 2 laptops connected through wireless and an xbox 360 connected through wires. Recently my internet has been disconncecting regularly, is this because the router is overloaded? if so does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix it....thanks ...Garfywell, to answer part of a non existent question...lol:
The 125 HSM stands for High Speed Mode, and it means that the router will pass wireless traffic at 125Mbps rather then the standard of 54Mbps.
As for your real question:
I would look at who the ISP is as well as the router. If it is cable, it could be a high usage time, as cable is shared by all who connect to it. If it is DSL, then this may not be the issue. Is the xbox lagging as well at these times? It may be sometype of spy ware on the computer, I would make sure they are all as clean as possible. You could try having only one computer connected to the router, and see if it slows down, this will give you a better idea of what may be happening.
Sorry I am not that much help, but there are several things that could be affecting this.
