Answer» i have set up a domain controller on windows server 2008 with users and and computers already set but am UNABLE to CONFIGURE the CLIENTS running windows7 proffessional-34 bit to access the domain. it gives this error"an attempt to resolve the DNS name of the domain controller in the domain being joined has failed. please verify this client is configured to reach a DNS server that can resolve DNS names in the targeted domain". your assistance will be HIGHLY appreciated.Kaje, please try this thread and see if it MATCHES anything with your current situation when joining Windows 7 clients on domain.
