It is a while since I have asked for assistance, HOWEVER, I am now in the B & S. I have installed (with a lot of help from a friend) a wireless router which that nice MAN from Tiscali sent me and on my main comp it is perfect. The problem lies in my other comp (grandchildrens play comp) which was at FIRST nicely connected but then Mr William Gates SAID I should INSTALL some updates. As the comp had lain idle for some time it seemed the right thing to do so I said "go ahead and install them". I am now unable to get on the NET and the Wireless Icons (bottom right of screen) have big red crosses through them. I have restored the system to a time before update but after wireless install but with no positive results.
Any ideas people? Hi people, It is me again. Thank you if anyone has looked at this problem but I have fixed it. I reinstalled USB adaptor software and Hey presto it now works.
