I reformatted my COMPUTER and now I can't seem to get a connection with my wireless modem. When I type in ipconfig it says media disconnected, in the network connections panel my LAN connection says network cable is unplugged. ALTHOUGH, the connection had previously been working before I reformatted so nothing was unplugged. Also tried power cycling my modem and that doesn't work either.
OS: XP
What computer do you have (model number).
Go to DEVICE Manager and list all the items with question marks or exclamation marks.hp pavilion a1630n
and can you explain the other part a BIT BETTER Right Click My Computer and go to Properties.
Head over to the Hardware Tab and click on Device Manager.
In Device Manager, look for any Yellow Question or Exclamation Marks and tell us what they are.
