Solve : Connection Drop Out Help...?

Answer»

They try a new modem?

You're going to have to escalate this (nicely) through levels of management, to basically ask if you're paying what you PAY every month for service that drops out every ten minutes....Yeah we EVEN considered it to be a problem with the power, so we bought a ups and it still didn't help.
Had the cable guy over for an hour today, putting up new cables outside, doing all sorts of things, and nothing works
Yeah when the problem first began we got a new modem, I guess i'll get a 2nd new one soon
It seems to be an unfixable problem.
I guess pressure on the ISP and then if nothing can be done, hopefully a new ISP will be the answer.
And btw thanks for always replying  You're WELCOME.  I hope you get it sorted out.Ok next thing I just tried..which I have no IDEA if it will be helpful or not, but you guys can let me know if you have any idea...

I went to Computer,
then System PROPERTIES,
then Device manager,
clicked on Network Adapters,
The name of my Network Adapter came up and then I right clicked it and clicked Update Driver Software.
It updated to Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller.

Maybe this has something to do with it? I have no idea but hey at this point anything is worth a try!
Any thoughts?Never hurts to try.  If this is an on-board / built-in network interface, you might try installing an inexpensive network card into an open PCI expansion slot if you are so inclined, and try it that way, too.
