Hi!

Every day our network crash at least 2 - 5 times.

First it's there, then it's not. This has been going on for months, And I've been THINKING about some KIND off attack on our router, but since it's been going on for so long I'm not sure.

The network will not work until I unplug the router, and wait for ten seconds before I plug the router back in.

We've had the routwr for a few YRS, so it's somewhat old. What could be the problem? It's quite annoying when you just get disconected all of a sudden.

(All network indicators are glowing, but the computers only have contact via LAN.)Well the obvious first question is: have you tried a different router? Alternatively, take the router out of the picture and connect the system directly to the modem - does the problem STILL occur? If not, it's the router.Sorry for wrong use of words, English is not my native language.

Of course I meant modem and not router. the router is barely a YEAR and is working great.What's also weird is that streamin music keep on playing, even though I can't access the internet...I'd still like you to take the router out of the equation and just as a test direct connect to the modem please.I've found the problem. I was wrong. it was the router. The thing was that it's a cheap router, and it's somewhat overused by us.
