Answer» Me and my wife are on same network. thru router to net. Cable internet. we play Quake 3 together.
Here's the situation:
1 week ago my connection is lagging out and when it does connect my ping to server fluxuates badly. Meaning my ping to server is beetween 90 and 800. Which before that we were always running beetween 40 and 60 on this server. Her PC is still at that rate.
I have tried different router, nic card and cat5 cable, deeply went over my pc, and have no virus and/or malware/adware that i can find any where.
Also CONNECTED my pc directly to cable modem. Same results
What could be the problem?

Appreciate the help Nope. It's totally clean.Try to run one more command: netsh int ip resetQuote one or more esential parameters were not entered. verify the required parameters and reenter them that's what it told me. Guess i could always do fresh install of OS, ugh You could try to uninstall TCP\IP and reboot and reinstall it.
It sounds LIKE your TCP stack is corrupted.
i can tryno go, still stumped, System RESTORE works wonders. Still don't understand why it did that. But i do appreciate the help guys. Good going
