Answer» I have a gaming server which will randomly be attacked by LARGE botnets, I have logs of the ips that i believe are from the ATTACKS. Is there anything I can do to stop them? Report it to somebody. My host wont do anythingthe best thing i would say to do is have the server run off a ip changer, or try upping the security so whoever is doing it can't detect the ip to preform the ddos; but unless you find a way to hide the ip or up your security then i would say.. you will be ddos'd but if i MIGHT ask, what kind of server is it? i might be able to help further if i know.I would suggest ADDING a firebox watchdog firewall to your server. |
