Answer» When I am close to my router I can CONNECT through wireless fine, but when I move to another room it doesn't work. I can still detect the router with at least 4 bars, but I can't connect to it. I get a troubleshoot error.
My router is WNDR3700-100NAS - http://www.amazon.com/NETGEAR-Wireless-Router-Gigabit-WNDR3700/dp/B002HWRJY4 I don't know what the problem is. The first DAY I can connect fine but then the second day I can't connect from far away. I tried resetting the router but it still doesn't work. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?Try checking your router's firmware version and see if you can upgrade it to fix certain issues. Read the instructions as written.thats not the right version, sorry, thats v2, my router is v3. I found out that when I am at a even farther distance I can connect fine, but then when I enter my room it disconnects. I think there is some type of interference in my room. But its STRANGE cause the first day it WORKED fine. Thx for the help, I don't think you can assist me any further.I suspect it's switching frequencies. Lock the frequency so it doesn't change bands. OR V3 not YET supported. V1&2 chipset is Alteros, V3 is Broadcom. http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=149115&highlight=wndr3700
