Answer» SINCE the time I have shrinked my c drive from250gb to 180gb to be added to d drive my disk usage is mostly near or at 100%. Whats the reason behind it and how can it be fixed?Assuming there should be space available, typical reasons are: 1) Empty Trash Bin 2) Delete files in Temp folder 3) Reduce space ALLOTTED to Temporary Internet Files Folder 4) LIMIT space available to System Restore (or disable system restore and use DISC imaging software instead) - this is typically the biggest culprit 5) Malware Use Treesize to see where the space is being used: https://www.jam-software.com/treesize_free/ |
