Answer» I'm trying to set up a wireless network with about 4 routers, so that all use the same SSID name. I understand from theory that it can be do done through an extended SSID (ESSID) with roaming capabilities. Can anyone advise how this can be done? It seems to be a very difficult task because not many ppl know how to do it.. yet it seems RELATIVELY simple. Much THANKS for any advice.First, let me ask you this: have you already searched the FORUM for posts related to this topic? Several questions regarding the wireless SSID have been posted here. Also, what routers are you USING? And do you have devices that can be used as as access points? As you have mentioned, it is difficult to find information about this topic because most of the stuff being sold as a for home use is seldom used in that configuration. You need to look into the documentation for the routers and access points that you want to use.
