I'm having trouble with my DYNEX wireless network card it was working FINE I bought it in september at first my signal was at 48MPS. Soon after that my computer broke and I got another computer and my singal was alot less like 11MPS I RECENTLY THO upgraded to vista and my singal was boosted back up to 48Mbps. MY hardrive recently crashed and I got a new emachine I put my card in it and its getting 11MBPS but my web sites wont pop up. I checked the properies on the card and found out that the packets sent are much less than packets received for example my packets sent are 185 and my packets receieved are 1. Do you know how to fix this.I figuered out I have a bad IP adress I fixed my card it was getting better but this morning my IP adress was diffrent I tried to release it but it gave me the same one back. IS their anyway to get a new IP adress?You'll have to call your ISP. Only they can change it.change the MAC address on the router. if your ISP assigns IP's based on MAC addresses, you will get a new IP.
