Answer» Hi, I have a router "Tp-Link TD-W9861ND" connected on my office Pc, and Wireless Adapter connected on another Pc. The internet works correctly on both computers. I want to share Folder, Printer on both computers. I'm using WINDOWS XP. can anyone help me?
Regards... It is easier too set up networks non XP if you have a USB thumb drive.
Here is what I do if all PCs are XP. Start the Network Wizard on one PC. Answer the questions about the type of network. Name the work group as "WORKGROUP" and then at the last step prepare then USB thumb drive. Take ti to the others PCs and run the setup.
And if all PCs are Windows 7 it is just as easy.
But... if one is a XP and another in Windows 7, it TAKES a little more EFFORT. Is that your issue? Or are all running XP?
Forgot too MENTION. I n ave to locate the "Shared Documents" folder and turn on sharing. Do it for other folders as needed. And the printers have to be installed, if desired. Geek!, Thank you very much.
