Solve : File Server Resource Manager Problem with DFS on Server 2003? |
|
Answer» HI, We have a server running Windows Server 2003 which seems to be having problems with DFS. It gets the following event log every now and then: - File Server Resource Manager failed to enumerate share paths or DFS paths. Mappings from local file paths to share and DFS paths may be INCOMPLETE or temporarily UNAVAILABLE. FSRM will retry the operation at a later time. Error-specific details: Error: (0x80070005) Access is denied. Error: (0x80070005) Access is denied. Error: (0x80070005) Access is denied. Error: (0x80070005) Access is denied. Error: (0x80070005) Access is denied. Error: (0x80070005) Access is denied. Error: (0x80070005) Access is denied. Error: (0x80070005) Access is denied. Error: (0x80070005) Access is denied. Error: (0x80070005) Access is denied. Has anyone any ideas as to what this is? Could it be related to another problem we are having in that we have to PERFORM an IISRESET every few days as our internal web based system gets to a point where it keeps hanging? Thanks |
