A search for my IP will almost always bring up Reston, Virginia. I don't live near Virginia, nor have I ever even been there. The closest the admin here has been able to get to tracing me is MOUNTAIN View, which is still a few hours away from where I actually live.Quote from: Carbon Dudeoxide on August 18, 2007, 09:24:49 PM Quote from: WillyW on August 18, 2007, 01:03:17 PMThis site can be fun to play with:It got my location wrong It not only got my location wrong, it failed to identify my browser, OS, and referer.I never knew i was in Kansas... I can't go beyond that screen unless I click on Join Now or Login, which I can't do because I have not registered.I see that you must either join a fee-based service for $3/mo. or you can register at no cost and get a limited number of lookups. You don't have to sign up to do a few lookups.
