Both have areset button that RESETS all settings to factory default, including the password. I think Netgear router would not be different.NO! Don't reset to factory ..........try the more complicated methods first! Try these:

normally resetting the router will return it to default settings(including password)...check

It should say in the manual what the default password is. Beyond that we can't help you break a password for obvious reasons.
