Answer» Well I have a Netgear WGT624 I found in my basement and it's better then that one I have now. But I NEED a password and I can't get in, so is there some way to get through that? Well I have a Netgear WGT624 I found in my basement and it's better then that one I have now. But I need a password and I can't get in, so is there some way to get through that? normally resetting the router will return it to default settings(including password)...check manual on netgear website...I have a LINKSYS router and a Trendnet router. Both have areset button that RESETS all settings to factory default, including the password. I think Netgear router would not be different.NO! Don't reset to factory ..........try the more complicated methods first!
