Solve : Help??

Answer»

1- COX's modem connected to router and router to COMPUTER 1, remote USB router wireless unit to computer 2;
2- With computer 1 & 2 OFF, using a pin to reset modem first, then the router;
3- Turned computer 1 ON. Later showed up Google logo on computer 1 (it means OK, right?)
You said turned on Modem first, then router, and then computers. I don't know how to turn on the modem and router, should I unplug their transformers first before to reset them? or what?
4- I turned on the computer 2, I SAW the LED light on the the remote unit blinking, but didn't come up Google logo, instead showed up 'can not display web page' message.

What wrong I did? or should I do something else on computer 2?

The other question On the line of http://www.aol.com at the end of the line there is an arrow V, when I click it, the browser history will come up, right? Now the question is, how can I delete one of them?Huh?
CNCT=Certified Network Computer Technician.

And you are asking us if....
... pulling the wall wort...
...will reset the modem?

Yes.

hahaha. sorry i didn't clarify. I am verry busy with school and there is an old chinese guy that emailed that post (too old to look it up himself) to me. I can hardly understand what he is asking, and i wanted to see what responses i would get. Apparently, computer 2 has no internet. i told him to reset the router and modem. he hasnt got that far. What on earth is he talking about AOL? i use Cox, and figure right clicking anything will give you the option to delete it. can anyone confirm?Okay so we got the internet working on computer 2. Now my only question is

"On the line of http://www.aol.com at the end of the line there is an arrow V, when I click it, the browser history will come up, right? Now the question is, how can I delete one of them?"

I haven't used AOL since Netscape was the Sh** so can anyone tell me the answer to this question? Does anyone have AOL here? Thank you for your time.
