Answer» when i use dial up and browsing the internet, an error appears that saying" Generic Host Process for Win32 Services has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience" and the error signature contains: EventType : BEX P1 : svchost.exe P2 : 5.1.2600.2180 P3 : 41107ed6 P4 : netapi32.dll P5 : 5.1.2600.2180 P6 : 411096ac P7 : 0000a3c0 P8 : c0000409 P9 : 00000000
when i click debug ,it stop the connection of the dial up but the ICON of the dial up in the task bar it is there and when i click status, it dosent appear. pls help me about this
when i DIDNT debug the error, another error message (svchost error) appear again saying "the exceprion unknown sofware exception (0xc0000409 occured in the application at locaion 0x5b86a3c0".I used to have a similar problem using dial-up. My modem (generic and exteral) would MAKE a click sound (like it did when it would disconnect), but my connection would litterally freeze, and I could not do anything with the connection icon and any program that would attempt to use the connection would also freeze. Not that this is of any importance now that I have cable, but I was just curious if anybody knew why this used to happen.
Sorry if I'm hyjacking the POST by ASKING this.so what is the problem with this? You may try to reinstall your drivers for the modem, bonf182. my modem dont need driver becouse the mother board already detects the modem. You need to give more info.
Did you change something before it started happening? Did you just get dial-up and have had it happen ever since? Did you get a new modem?
Too much information is better than not enough.
