D-link is my router, webstar my modem. You weren't changing your external IP, you were changing the LAN IP. If you have a really good reason for needing a different IP you can TALK to your ISP and they can change it for you. They won't however do it just on a whim or daily basis I just need it changed once.You also won't be able to choose what your external IP is changed to. Can you answer Transfusion's question above? |
