Were there any hardware changes to it, or it has original configuratuion?The laptop has Windows 2000 Prof, and I want to upgrade it now can I buy any windows upgrade like if I wanted 98 instead of 2000, or do I need to stick with what I have. The laptop is an old Gateway SOLO 5300, not sure what else you need to know so I will keep checking for your response.Why would you want to go from Win 2000 to Win 98? Win 2000 is much better OS.Being a chef and not a computer guy I listen to what I have heard and someone told me that 98 was better, or that 2000 had alot of problems on it. so what should I do?You stay with Win 2000.
