When I go to the properties of my internet connection, then to advanced, I have the internet sharing option, and I can enable it. The problem is, there is SUPPOSED to be a pop up menu where I can choose which network I want to grant access to... But it isn't there. Anyone know how I can get it there?  It's the only last thing standing in my way of ICS and I'd love to get it going.   Thanks    -ShaneActually if you configured at LOCAL Area Connection which the NIC then there's nothing to pop-up. It will only pop-up if you configure on WAN miniport or the PPPoE. So that's ok no worries.Question: how many network cards do you have in the COMPUTER with ICS enabled?
If you have 2 (one for WAN - where comes the cable from ISP, one for LAN - cable to the other computers in you network) there should be not a problem.
If you have 3 or more network cards, ICS will grant access to only one of your networks. On WAN network card you will have the IP given by your ISP, on another network card you will have the IP 192.168.0.1; you can't have 2 network cards on the same computer with the same IP, so only one network will be able to use the shared connection. If you LAN consists on many networks you wouldn't ask that question, we will be talking about Routing and Remote Access (or simply put, we will be talking about a router, with Linux, Windows, does not matter).ok well ya'll got me confused now.. lol  so let me just tell the whole story. For a while now i've been trying to figure out how to share this computer's dialup internet with my laptop, using bluetooth dongles and IVT BlueSoleil. (I know, i'm crazy for wanting to share a dial-up connection, and i know it's gonna be really slow. so lets just skip all that... lol) Both computers can connect to the bluetooth PAN and on my laptop i connect to lan access and it connects the LAP connection, but still no internet. So i decided to try it the other way AROUND.. i connected my laptop straight to the internet, and i went to the internet properties and enabled sharing, and there was a menu asking me which home network i wanted to use it or whatever. I chose the bluetooth pan. So then i connected this computer to the lan access, it connected and had internet! But like i said, i need this computer to do the sharing, not the laptop. So here we are at my problem... When i go to my internet properties on this computer, i have the internet sharing option, but there is no menu of what network i want to let use it. Thats what is holding me back                   thanks  can anyone help??   nevermind, i finally got it
