Hi! I have 2 pcs connected to TP-Link router. And one of them works perfectly while the other shows cable is unplugged even THOUGH the cable is perfectly plugged. Please, i need help SWITCH the connections to the router. If you have the same problem with the same computer, the issue is with the pc or the cable. If you now have a problem with the other computer, the problem is with the router.I tried switching but it doesn't WORK. It previously worked, but after i reformatted it , it stopped working. What doesn't work? The same PC?

After formatting and installing the os did you install the drivers (chipset driver, ETHERNET driver)?I though windows did install. And I can't find anywhere the appropriate drivers. Get them from the website of your computer manufacturer or on the DISK that came with your system.I don't have the cd, and I have bought a used computer. So I don't know where to download the drivers. I think I have 2 network adapters : Broadcom NetXtreme and AMD PCNET Family PCI .
Go to the website of the computer manufacturer or motherboard manufacturer. Download and install the chipset driver.How to I find out my motherboard manufacturer or computer manufacturer.
