Answer» How do you host games with a ROUTER? My friend is trying to host a halo server with a Microsoft Mn500 router, but it doesn't work. As you may know, people can't cannot to his server. I know he can directly plug to the modem to host, but taking the router out is not an option.You are INTERESTED about port forwarding or DMZ (on the router).i was trying to try port forwarding too but when i tried to set up my static IP i screwed up my internet. you gotta be CAREFUL i just quit after that cause i DIDNT want to permanantly mess it up.I've onced use DMZ for my xbox 360, but something screwed up and I had to reset the router settings. I've never understood the concept of DMZ and port forwarding. What am I supposed to do with port forwarding? |
