Solve : How can i monitor Xbox 360 internet usage?? |
|
Answer» HI, I have recently installed DU Meter to monitor my internet upload/download usage from my PC and Xbox 360. I have no problems viewing the usage for my PC using DU Meter, but DU Meter doesn't seem to be 'aware' of when i am downloading a big file such as a game demo on my 360. I know i am connected because i can see the file downloading, and the lights on my modem and router are flashing, but DU Meter reports that internet upload/download is at 0kbps. The same thing happens when i view my network connections in control panel - although it says it is connected, the amount of bytes being 'sent' and 'received' is idle, even though the file is downloading on the 360. I'm guessing that DU Meter only monitors the network card in my PC, as do the network connections in control panel. Is there any SOFTWARE that monitors ALL data that passes through the modem rather than just the network card in my PC? Have read that i have to include my setup so here it is... DELL Dimension 8200 Intel P4 2.2Ghz 1Gb ram Nvidia Geforce FX5700LE 256mb 1 x 80Gb HDD for operating system 1 x 200Gb HDD for everything else Sound Blaster Live! Most Xbox's don't take much, it's when your streaming movies and crap that you have issues.Update? |
