Answer» in my computer, some ports are open but i don't know which processes opened it.
I want to kill them, the only things i know is ip and port.
how can i kill them ?? in window xp.
please help me.
i already know "taskkill" in dos kills process.
how do i USE it. ??Open msconfig and choose selective startup (disable everything from loading) and REBOOT. Does the problem still occur? If not, START adding items back to msconfig one or two at a time, rebooting after each change, until the problem reappears and you'll have identified the offending process. However, if the problem continues even with the first selective startup it's possible we're looking at a hardware related issue.http://www.speedguide.net/faq_in_q.php?qid=115TCPViewA easy way you can do this is by using this tool from Nirsoft http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/cports.html
Go to bottom of the PAGE to find the download link
This tool will show you all open ports with their IP address and also lets you find which process opened it.
