Answer» Ok so I have a pretty odd situation:
laptop -------- user A, admin privs: can print user B, LIMITED account: can't print (unable to connect to the printer) user C, admin privs: can print
printer: shared permissions: user A, user B, user C (print)
pc --- all users: can print
I think there is an issue with user B. It can't connect when it tries to print. It's added to the security of the printer, but I think the accounts on both machines are not the same (though they have the same name and password).
This shouldn't be an issue anyway because since the printer is shared with other accounts on the laptop, any user should be able to print through user A, which has access, which has shared the printer.
However, user B can't print..... gah.
What could be going on? Any ideas?
Thanks
I find it odd there are no answers.Either everyone is on VACATION or there isn't anyone technical enough to SOLVE my problem. Why are people not answering?the more you "bump" your topic the less chance you have of some one answering it cos it will MOVE down the page or worse it would be locked by one of the admins for spam.
