Solve : how do I view other computer's on my wireless network??

Answer»

is there a way to view the computer name of a person on my wireless network?

thanks,
S_R_STake a look in your router admin panel. If you happen to have a D-Link DI-524 router, which is what I have, I could tell you exactly where to find it.where might i find it? you said you could tell me how to on yours well can you? thanks.I access my router by ENTERING 192.168.0.1 in the web address box of my browser and then entering the username and password. 192.168.0.1 is the common URL for many routers but it could be different. The initial panel that appears has 5 buttons in a vertical column on the left side of the panel. The bottom one is DHCP. I click on it. NEAR the bottom of that panel is a list under "Dynamic DHCP CLIENT List ". That's where it shows the NAMES of computers that have accessed the Internet or the local network via my router.

Whether you will have the same thing really depends on how the admin panel for your particular router is designed. My router has a Help tab in the admin panel; from there, I can obtain info on many of the features of the router.

Thanks.. You helped alot. =)
