i'm moving from home and i only LIVE about a mile and a half from my PARENTS' house now. instead of setting up a new, expensive internet account, is there a card or device i can buy that will help me continue to read my parents' internet connection? i have a wireless router of my own and i'm wireless in their house. is there SOMETHING i can do or will i need to set up a whole new internet connection?

So you don't save money.No, you're not going to be able to "reach" or "find" your parent's signal (but you might be able to meet your neighbors). It's too far away and there are too many other networks using the same "channel" between you and your parents.
