Solve : How to check all connections??

Hello

I would like to KNOW how I can check all my connections that are currently active on my computer with the internet. In-going and Out-going connections.
I've heard this is possible on your router.. but not all?
Is there any program that tells me how many and what CONNECTION i currently have with the internet?
And ALSO to see if there is any other computer currenlty connected to mine?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
