1.	Solve : how to move internet connection away from phone jack?
Answer» Is there any way to move the main desktop computer away from phone jack. I currently have a wireless modem that connects my LAPTOP to the modem by the desktop. Now I would like to move my desk and computer to a location that doesn't have a phone jack handy... and I really don't WANT my husband to drill holes in my floor to run a phone line. Please HELP. Thanks SonieI'm not so sure, but I don't think there is any other way other than running a wire to the computer, UNLESS you want to put the wireless modem at the phone jack and add a wireless card into the desktop. You also don't have to drill a hole. I have a 20M INTERNET cable running from the router in the computer room to my room. Not sure exactly how to explain it, but the cable runs through a tube across the top.
