Solve : How to unblock a blocked Internet access in a networked pc?? |
|
Answer» Hi, I'm what you can call a computer tech wannabe... and I'm trying to unblock a friend's computer that is on a small office network and that has the internet access BLOCKED, but I'm not sure how to do it, and I don't wanna mess another stuff. Can anyone help me? Thanks, in advance. um, most employers who block internet do so for a reason, and won't appreciate your attempts to bypass there security. Actually, is the owner of the business who ask me to unblock that pc, cuase he made his past computer tech to block it because of a lazzy EMPLOYEE, but she's not there anymore, and his computer geek never came back, and I'm kind of the new geek , but I don't KNOW to much of networks. It all depends on how it is blocked. You can block the internet from security settings in XP Pro, you can use a firewall or other gateway device to block the internet for one or many computers, you can use third party port blocking software. You might need to find that geek and ask hoe it is blocked.Well, that's the main problem.... that guy dissapear, and because I don't know how he block it, I don;t want to mess with any port and make the problem worst. But if any KNOWS how to identify where's blocked, please let me know. Thanks guys. =Dwhen you try to go to a web page, what HAPPENS?It doesn't open.... |
