After conducting some research I found I could do it with a nifty program called Transfile WIN 200, which i downloaded. But Problem: It wouldn't link using the IR port on my computer to the IR port on the 200LX. Does anybody know if it is possible to to this? Why do you want to link them?
It is possible, but I have to look after MS-DOS drivers and read more about... Connection between MS-DOS and XP. Man, you're giving US a very odd problem. Why do you need such a thing?I have this annoying habit of when I START something, I want to finish it. I wanted to put qbasic on the palmtop as well as I've written out some long documents on the palmtop I want to switch across.
I've tried everything to do with IR now, and that's not the solution.
In the palmtop manual, it gives pinouts for making a 200LX Serial to RS232 9 PIN serial port, (aren't old manuals wonderful? I'll be buggered if my new laptop's manual told me how to make a usb to IR port converter)
I'll try that...
