Solve : I have internet...but my applications wont connect? |

Answer» Alright, I'm having a small problem with this computer my friend left for me to try and fix, and honestly im stumped, it can connect to the net through my LAN, and I can surf the internet with IE or firefox, but none of his APPS can connect! Any messenger, Game [world of warcraft in this case] or anything else simply cant connect, why? I've checked my router settings, added necessary PORTS, I disabled all the firewalls just to see if it WOULD WORK, nothing. I've updated the network driver and everything, Am I over looking something or what?Try telnetting to the ports in QUESTION; eg:telnet your.computer.ip 3403 |
