Windows has remote desktop protocol INSTALLED and disabled by default. Assuming it is a computer that you have permission to access, you would need to enable remote desktop and configure your router/firewall to pass through requests to make the connection.Thanks michaewlewis.. You will need administrative access to both the server and the router in order to do this. If you do not have administrative access, then you need to talk to whoever does about setting it up.If you know the remote ip address of the server just type it in the url If the server has remote administration enabled in the router/ switch it will allow access obviously once v=credentials are supplied. |
