Answer» Oh Lord - where to start. Hi guys, I have burdened you guys for a long time, but not in this forum. I run two WIN 7 machines, 1 laptop, 1 desktop, both 32 bit Os's now. I enjoyed file sharing fine until I upgraded the laptop from 64 bit to 32. From that point on I can't get connected to the network on the laptop. Of course the desktop is the host. I'm sure the problem is in the laptop software. Clicking on the icon on the laptop gets "no connections are available", "open network and sharing CENTER". The host computer is not sleeping. I have returned to the host, closed & started anew the network, it shows the network alive & well. The host action center says "no issues detected". The network only shows the host devices. The laptop shows the aforementioned "no CONNECTION are available". Ok fellows , I'm COUNTING on you. Well, I'm going back in!
