Answer» I have very crappy knowlege in networking and i would like to set one up in my room with 3 computers...i would like to have a WIRED one....i was just wondering what would i need??? I belive a router of course and some ethernet cords...anything else?Of course, each computer must have a network adapter, i.e. LAN/Ethernet card, installed. If you have that, ALONG with the router and cables, then you have everything you need. If you FORESEE a need for WIRELESS, then I suggest you buy a wireless router, which really means one that SUPPORTS both wired and wireless connections. Otherwise, go with a straight wired router.
